The Lock-N-Lift system consists of a receiver (#500B) and a lifting tool (#750 or #800).The receiver is flush welded into the center of each steel trench plate.  The lifting tool is inserted into the receiver plate and locked into place.  A hook or shackle is attached and your plate is ready to lift.  There are no threads to maintain, no need to reach under a plate, just easy, balanced, controlled lifting.  The flush mounted receiver eliminates trip hazards and the need for storage dunnage.  Welcome to Lock-N-Lift, the inventor and world’s foremost expert for dovetail style steel plate lifting tools.  Our tools make your job of lifting and handling heavy steel trench and road plates safer and easier. With single point lifting, our lifting tools are rated for 8000 pounds with a 5:1 Safety Margin.  Plates that weigh more than 8000lbs can be lifted with two weld plates and two tools.
